Here's a list of the official banned films

Ok, just for the record I'd like to make a few points about these movies, they came from an era where, for a short time, a loophole in the law allowed the release of uncertified video material to be released in the UK. When all your favorite Zombie and Cannibal movies were available to rent. It didn't last though, and resulted in the legendary video nasty witch hunt. These films would corrupt young minds and turn us into raving maniacs! Give us some credit !!  I've seen any horror film I could since the age of ....... Well I was very young and I've turned out ok! I mean apart from my collection of severed heads in the loft and my craving for human flesh that is. Anyway, the authorities went mad and Banned a bunch of mostly shit films which they deemed offensive. What better way of giving those films all the publicity they would ever need. I cant understand the obsession with collecting all the official nasties, it's just a list after all and anyone who has seen them will remark on how awful most of them are . There are notable exceptions though, that's why I devote this space to them, this page will only be updated if and when I get round to seeing them all.
