Modern vampire film filled with nice gore scenes in which a group of teenagers fight for survival against a town infected with a vampire plague. This is a total gore film which never takes itself too seriously and tends to make you laugh instead of cringe at the red stuff spurting everywhere. Filmed on video on zero budget this has some impressive gore effects. The guy telling the story is a vampire killer whose family were wiped out by the monsters. The storyline is very similar to a later film by John Carpenter "Vampires" but  I much prefer this effort as it feels much fresher and pulls no punches on the violence. I believe this is the uncut version, it got through somehow. If anyone knows differently let me know. Well worth a look .
