I was honestly expecting this to be total crap so I was pleasantly surprised that it is actually quite good. The Anti-Christ has returned, taken over a human body and is looking for the one woman who can bear his child, doing so will bring about the end of the world! He has to impregnate her just before midnight on Millennium eve and you guessed it!! only Arnie can stop him. This could easily have been terrible, big budget horror films usually are, but it is far better than your average Hollywood effort in the Genre. Schwarzenegger is the usual action man with a sad past. A good cop whose family were murdered by criminals he testified against, tortured by guilt and contemplating suicide. Gabriel Byrne is great as the Anti Christ intent on ending the world as we know it. A good mix of action and horror.
